Short Biography
Abhinav Tomar is presently working as an assistant professor in the department of computer science and engineering at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi. Prior to that, he was working with the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. Previously he was associated with the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India as a Senior Research Fellow, joined in September 2015. He had spent there more than four startling years as a full-time Ph.D. research scholar in the Dept. of Comp. Sci. & Engg. Prior to coming to IIT Dhanbad, he worked as an Assistant Professor at JECRC University, Jaipur, India, for one year. He had spent two sparkling years of his student life at MNNIT Allahabad, India, by doing Masters (M.Tech.) in Computer Science. He is currently serving as a Project mentor to Young Professionals/Graduate Students for Technergize 2.0, IEEE Computer Society, Student & Young Professional Activities Committee, R-10 India.
Abhinav has more than four years of teaching and eight years of research experience in his career. He has published 20+ research articles and served as a reviewer in many reputed international journals and conferences. Besides, he is a member of ACM and IEEE (Young professional, Computer Society, Sensors Council, Systems Council, etc.) He is a life member of the Computer Society of India.
Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused on Mobile charging in Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Networks. Key Skills in Matlab, Wireless Sensor Networks (Data Collection + Mobile Charging), IoT, Recommender Systems, Multi-attribute Decision Making, Cloud Computing, and Fog Computing. Looking for collaborative research in these research areas, but not limited to.
